Aliases, multiple recipients, groups

Posted April 7th, 2006, 11:57 by moeffju

Aliases work now, both for sender and recipient(s). Yes, recipients! To send a note to multiple recipients, just list them separated by comma (but no space), like this: “note to me,myself, ego,id”. As a special combination of aliases and multiple recipients, there are groups. They work exactly the same: “note to @owners OMG ooga ROCKS!”

If you want an alias added, note moeffju. Aliases can be regular expressions.

msg commands returning

Posted March 11th, 2006, 16:00 by moeffju

The following /MSG commands work now:

  • notes check - Check whether you have notes
  • notes get - Get new notes
  • notes get all - Get all notes (limit 10)
  • notes get [num] - Get note num
  • notes get [first] [last] - Get notes first to last
  • notes del - Delete your notes (all of them)
  • notes set autosend (1/0) - if autosend = 1, send notes on join/nick
  • notes set webonly (0/1) - no effect yet

Next up: Passwords, realnames and aliases.

on join/nick notification is back

Posted March 10th, 2006, 2:09 by moeffju

When joining the channel, or when changing nick, ooga will now tell you whether you have new notes. If your autosend flag is 1 (default), you will automatically be sent all notes.

In related news, “note to self” works again, too.

notes webinterface is back

Posted March 9th, 2006, 19:57 by moeffju

The webinterface for ooga’s notes is back online. It should be fully functional, but if stuff blows up in your face, I’m not responsible. Do let me know, though.

notes are back

Posted March 9th, 2006, 18:01 by moeffju

Rudimentary notes are back. Current limitations are:

  • Only one recipient
  • No aliases (in either direction)
  • No /MSG commands, use public “ooga, note to foo bar” and “ooga, do I have notes?”
  • No onjoin notification.
  • Passworded accounts don’t work at the moment (this is a limit of the current syntax, not functionality), that means that you’re arsed if your account is set to autosend 2 and has a password set.

Work continues.
